Free Education: Imo drops Non-Indigenes – Conducts verification of students

The Imo State Government has dropped non- indigenes in its University and other State owned tertiary Institutions in the state from its Free Education Programme saying that non-indigenes have been benefiting from the gesture while indigenes of the State were not enjoying similar programme in other states.

Already, the state has embarked on verification of Students of Imo State origin in the state owned tertiary Institutions in the state to ensure that real indigenes of the state are identified to enable them continue to enjoy the free education programme.
