IMSU NEWS: Faculty of Education inaugurates new executives

The Inauguration of new executives generally in Imo State University is a public ceremony where newly elected administrators are installed in office after emerging victoriously at the polls.


CROSS SECTION OF SOME NEW EXECUTIVES

The ceremony has its roots in the medieval and Monastery schools as taught by my erudite lecturer, Mrs. Udo-Ngozi Adora.

Back to the salt mines, the ground breaking inauguration ceremony of Education Faculty held on Wednesday April 5, 2017 at the university social arena was said to be hitch free and successful as ten unique executive across the seventeen departments in the faculty were installed.

THE OUTGOING PRESIDENT

The Inauguration was an expression of welcome and reception for the new executives who are joining the circle of colleagues in the politics of students on campus.

The new executives who were described as “WELL DISCIPLINED” by the senior presiding officer in the faculty (Dean), had in attendance Professor Victoria Adaobi obasi former commissioner for education and acting vice chancellor IMSU (ably represented), Dr. (Mrs) Agulanna G.G Dean Faculty of Edcation, Dr. (Mrs) Nnadozie E.C staff advicer, Dr. Chijioke Ohakanwa amongst many other dignitaries of the university who graced the occasion.

AUDIENCE

The SUG president Mr. frankline, secretary general, chief judge, well wishers, students and host of delegates were not left out from the ceremony.

MR. DANIEL, THE NEW PRESIDENT

The chief judge of the faculty administered oath of allegiance to the ten elected executives individually as musical interlude and much entertainment came from the disc jockey and master of ceremony (Mc. Aribobo).

ADMINISTERING OATH OF OFFICE

The inauguration was anchored by Mc Aribobo who trilled and leased new life to the audience, leaving them in more happiness and laughter than before.

MASSIVE TURN OUT

The president Mr. Munaha Daniel also known as “Vision” in his closing remark ceased the opportunity to beckon on students of the faculty to support and keep praying for his administration as it is poised to leaving a good legacy.

He thanked everyone who honored the invitation and prayed for safe journey to their various destinations.
