Candidates Can Still Register For 2017 UTME - JAMB Registrar Ishaq Oloyede

- The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that all applicants interested in registering for the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can still apply

- Oloyede said the board got a mandate from the Senate some weeks ago to increase the registration for the UTME by one month

- He said the month extension as mandated by the Senate would elapse on May 28 when JAMB will finally close its registration portal

The registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Ishaq Oloyede has announced that all applicants interested in registering for the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can still apply.

He said the board got a mandate from the Senate some weeks ago to increase the registration for the UTME by one month.

He said the month extension as mandated by the Senate would elapse on May 28 when JAMB will finally close its registration portal.

As I speak, we have registered additional 1,100 candidates,” Oloyede said.

Linkloaded.com earlier reported that the JAMB registrar earlier announced that out of the 1,648,429 candidates writing the ongoing UTME, the results of 1,048,914 have been released.

Oloyede noted that the candidates were also not doing bad going by the results so far released by the examination body.
