Yoruba Students’ Association Donates Waste Bins to IMSU

In a related
development, one of the foremost Non-indigenous Associations in Imo State
University Owerri , Yoruba Students’ Association led by Mr. Festus Oloye has
donated units of Waste Bin to Imo State
University, in order to support the ”KEEP IMSU CLEAN
PROJECT”.
The donation was
made on Friday, 14th July,
2017 at Mr. Owunna recreational park fondly called “Love Garden”,
in the Main Campus, Owerri.
The units of waste bin were heartily received by the Students’
Union Government (S.U.G) IMSU led by Mr. Franklin Ugochukwu (CAPACITY) on
behalf of the University Management.
Presenting the
donation, the president Yoruba students’ association Mr. Festus Oloye commended
the current University administration on the great record of achievements
recorded so far, adding that, the donation was part of its plan of giving back
to the university that is investing in them.
Receiving the kind
donation, the president of the Student Union Government alongside the Director
of welfare in their short but encouraging remark thanked the Association
of Yoruba Students for taking what they described as a wonderful step assuring that
the university management will not exclude them in its scheme for the purpose of deepening the existing
relationship.

Mr. Desmond, Director of environment Mr. Nature, IMSU Elijah Among other
Prominent Members of the University Community.
