Student Opinion: "The Selfish Student Union Government" By Kelvin Dike

Some challenges and confrontations faced as a student leader can discourage many from playing an active part in school politics. A one time IMSU SUG Secretary general and core activist Kelvin Dike Popularly Known as (K.K) has criticised the student Union body particularly the 16th SUG republic maintaining that the Union no longer serve the idea for which they were originally intended.

According to his Facebook post, K.K said

"SELFISH UNION GOVERNMENT
(SUG IMSU 16TH REPUBLIC)
Its time to break the silence as this current government have shown their high level of selfishness than solidarity".
"It took this government just less than One week to facilitate a bus from school management and Go to far north central ABUJA to meet with senators and honourable member to collect ALUTA ALA ITE (MONEY) from them with the excuse of witnessing sitting."
"It also took this present Government less than 48hrs to mobilise over 1500 students to welcome Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Liberian President when she arrive IMO just because of money".
"A fellow Executive lost his mother since 3months and date for burial fixed for 7th April 2018, and to my greatest surprise only one executive member was present at Abia State because it wasn't a money affair".
