IMSU To Host The 2018 Edition Of South-East Biochemistry Convention

The South East Biochemistry Conference is gradually establishing itself as a significant avenue to shape scholarly engagement of students within the region. The 9th edition of the conference seeks to engage the past and the present, with the theme "Biochemistry a solution to Nigeria's Economic Development".

The convention which is meant to improve the glycosidic bond between the Biochemistry Students of the territory is billed to take place at Imo State University (IMSU) Auditorium from Wednesday 6th - Sat. 9th June, 2018;10am Daily.

The Convention timetable features;

Day 1 (6th-06-2018)

-Arrival of participants

-Registration of students

-Allocation of accommodation and materials(jotters,pens,tags,magazines,stickers,files & pamphlet of the order of the day)

Day 2 (7th-06-2018)

-Morning jogging/workout

We are encouraged to come with canvases and joggers.

-Welcoming address,lectures,paper presentation on Exploration in Biochemistry Career,Internment Etc

-Evening Interschool competitions: Football matches( male & female) sack race,100metre race,Egg race volleyball etc [we should bring along our kits,jerseys and boots]

-Dance competition(between females and male at the lodge)

Day 3 (8th-06-2018)

-Morning jogging/Workout 

-Lectures

-Career talk

-Quiz (each chapter is expected to set Five Objective questions which will be submitted to the quiz master on that day)

-Debates

-presentation

-Internment

-Interschool Competitions Finals(Football volleyball Races etc)

-Make-up competitions 

-Awards/Dinner Night which will feature performances(Dance Rap etc) pageantry comedy etc.

Day 4 (9th-06-2018)

-Distribution of certificates

-Departure.
