The Vice Chancellor of Imo State University, Prof. Mrs.
Victoria Adaobi Obasi on Wednesday, October 3rd, dedicated the University’s new
ultramodern Senate Building.
The event which was witnessed by principal officers, staff
and some student leaders of the University marked the official opening of the
edifice, which will henceforth serve as the administrative hub of the
University.
The 3-floor edifice occupies a strategic position in the
University’s landscape with the Senate Chamber, offices, an elevator and a
power backup system that protects the equipment in the complex from power
outrage.
Speaking at the commissioning, Professor Adaobi said that
nothing of greatness can happen in the life of a man or an institution without
the great hand of God at work in such a life and institution.
