World Sight Day: NOSA To Conduct Free Eye Tests In Owerri.
Perofak Eye clinic together with the Nigerian Optometry Students association (NOSA) will be conducting a free medical check-up, blood sugar and eye tests in Owerri as part of their activities to mark the 2018 world sight day slated Thursday, October 11.
The National President Valentine Abonyi in an official memo sent to this media outfit said the free eye screening would run for 5-days, from Monday 8 through Friday October 12 between 10am to 3pm daily.
Apart from the free eye test billed to take place at No. 7 works layout, off IMSU Junction, Owerri, also there would be an online quiz program for Schools offering Optometry.
The notification reads in part:
"Also, to mark this great day, there will be an online quiz competition open to all schools. The quiz competition has been slated to take place on the 10th and 11th of October,2018 for the different categories. The quiz is open to all schools offering optometry in Nigerian.
There'd be a rally to mark this great day. Date for the rally is on the 11th day of October, 2018. We'll be moving from College of medicine and health sciences, Imo state university. Time - 9am".
