Student Leader Beaten Up By Rivals In IMSU.
In what seems to be a repeat of chaotic scene, a student leader identified as Uzoma Promise (AVALON) was allegedly beaten by rival group members on Thursday evening.
In his written complaint, the student leader Cmrd. Uzoma, resident of Bishop's Court alliance, stated that he was beaten up by rivals because he resisted the sales of illegal matriculation stickers to newly admitted students of Bishop's court ahead of Friday's Matriculation ceremony in the University.
Taking cognisance of the complaint, a Police case has been lodged, Cmrd. Uzoma hinted.
Full details coming soon.
