It’s rare to marry young, but some students are getting hitched before they’ve even graduated from university. The Story is told of Maryjane Duru, a female student of library and Information Science Department in Imo State University who got married not long after the COVID’19 lockdown in Owerri.
On Saturday, May 30th, Duru Maryjane took to social media to share sweet photos as she tied the knot with her long-time fiancé, Okoroafor Peter. The ceremony took place at Umuigolo Umuoma Irete in owerri, Imo State.
Duru Maryjane is a fresh graduate of library and information science, IMSU. She hopes to further her studies by embarking on a PhD.
