APPROVED EXAMINATION TIMETABLE AND ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2021/2022 SESSION

 

Further to the approval granted by the Senate at its Emergency Meeting on Monday 19 September 2022, to the above stated, the Ag. Vice Chancellor directs as follows:

1. Deans are to immediately convene their Faculty Board Meetings on or before 30/09/2022 and submit to the Ag. Vice Chancellor's office the minutes of the meeting.
2. Lecturers are to submit their examination questions to the HODs on or before 29/09/2022 for onward transmission to the Ag. Vice Chancellor's office through the Deans by 30/09/22.
3. Faculties are to prepare their invigilation roasters for the rescheduled Second Semester Examinations in conjunction with the Exam Officers of Faculties and the General Exam Officers for the attention of the Ag. Vice Chancellor.
4. The Deans should direct the HODs to inform all lecturers to comply with the above directives or it shall be perceived as an act of insubordination.
5. Postgraduate external examinations are to commence immediately. All Faculties MUST insist on this within the next two weeks while the undergraduate examinations are going on.

Deans are requested to handle these directives with the immediacy they deserve.

SEPTEMBER, 2022

FRIDAY 30th – Arrival of new students/provision of accommodations, and

The arrival of old students/provision of accommodation.

OCTOBER, 2022

MONDAY 3rd – Lecturers commence.

TUESDAY 4th – Registration begins for new students

WEDNESDAY 5th – Registration begins for old students

THURSDAY 6th – Orientation for new students begins.

FRIDAY 7th – Orientation for new students ends.

MONDAY 10th – Lectures commence

FRIDAY 14th – Registration ends for old students.

MONDAY 17th – Late registration begins for old students.

– Registration ends for old students.

TUESDAY 18th – Late registration begins for new students.

THURSDAY 27th – Late registration ends for old students.

MONDAY 31st – Last day for submission of the Second semester 2020/2021 result to the department, processing of results begins in the department.

 

NOVEMBER, 2022

FRIDAY 11th – Last day for submission of Second semester 2020/2021 results to the Registry (Examination), Processing of results begins in the Faculty.

SATURDAY 26th – MATRICULATION

 

 

DECEMBER, 2022

MONDAY 5th – Revision Begins.

FRIDAY 10th – Revision Ends.

MONDAY 12th – First semester Examinations Begin.

FRIDAY 23rd – First Semester Examinations Ends.

SAT 24th - MON 26th – Christmas Breaks
