IMSU Post Utme Registration and Cut Off Mark 2023/2024, Confirm O’level Results Uploaded, Update and Link Email on the JAMB Portal.
The general public is hereby informed that the IMSU cut-off mark for admission into the 2023/2024 academic session has been released by the Imo State University (IMSU) management.
The POST UTME registration is slated to start on August 10th, 2023; if any date changes, all prospective applicants will also be informed.
IMSU admission is free and is purely on merit. Parents and prospective students beware of admissions sellers and masqueraders.
The general cut-off mark for IMSU admission for the 2023/2024 session is pegged at 160, while the Departmental cut-off mark is not yet released, and this is determined internally and not for public consumption”– will come up with their various cut-off marks following the performance in the university post-Utme.
Meanwhile, JAMB has stated that 140 is only a minimum benchmark for universities to consider for admissions in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
ON ADMISSION PROCESS JAMB also noted that the process of admission through the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) is decided by the institutions’ criteria.
The Jamb Board has no role whatsoever in the decision of the institutions to determine how or with what criteria they want to admit. The part of the Board is to ensure that the goalpost is not shifted in the middle of the game.
JAMB added that the admission process is not determined solely by UTME scores, “UTME score is just one of the two or three scores that are generally cumulated to obtain the eventual aggregate score and ranking of the candidates by most institutions. “Other parameters are Post-UTME/Post-A/L qualifications screening test score; O Level results grading score.
Steps To Confirm If Your O’level Results Are Uploaded on JAMB Website
To be sure whether your SSCE result was uploaded or not, follow the steps below:
1st Method
Visit: efacility.jamb.gov.ng
Log in with your JAMB profile email and profile password.
Once you are on your dashboard, scroll to the end of the page to locate “Check Admission Status. “
On the next page, locate “Access My CAPS. “Click this to display “My O’level. “
2nd Method
Download the JAMB Mobile App
See the procedure to download on the play store or Apple Store.
Visit the O’level section to confirm your O’level details.
3rd Method
Visit any JAMB Accredited Centre around you with your JAMB Profile code.
Tell them to help you Check if your O’level result is on the JAMB portal.
You are good to go if they type in your JAMB Profile Code and get the response that you have uploaded all Required Documents.
You can equally ask the CBT operator to show you the subjects and the grades on the system to ensure you have successfully uploaded your documents.
Note: If your O’Level Result has been successfully uploaded, you will see the list of your 9 Subjects and grades displayed on your screen.
How to Update and Link Emails on the JAMB Portal
Open the text message app on your phone.
Type in your Email address, e.g., [email protected].
Send to 55019 or 66019. (E.g., Text “[email protected] to 55019 or 66019”).
Log in to your email address and Open the mail from JAMB to view the updated details.
